"See ya in the funny papers"

Well, after a few emotional goodbyes (mostly on my part) I was off. This trip is not a holiday, but a journey to myself, to find where I fit in this world, explore who I am and what I'm made of. Leaving friends, family and all the securities we cling to behind and relying on common sense, intuition, the kindness of strangers and when it's available - wifi to get me through.
As many of you know, I've sold off all my belongings, including my home, quit my job and left Canada. Many people said, "oh my god, you are brave,....I'd never do that...are you scared? are you nervous? aren't you worried? where are you going?"
The answer: It's completely necessary for me to do this - nothing to do with being brave......I'm only scared and nervous about writing a blog and having people read my thoughts (working through it! LOL)......I have worries but nothing to do with this journey and I have no clue where my travels will take me.
This feels like the right thing to do, it feels good and I'm right where I'm supposed to be.
As my dad says "See ya in the funny papers!"
